Okay so I’ve broken my on-time commitment. It’s been a hectic month and it’s also the holiday season! Anyway check out Linden’s month 11 photos HERE!
Okay so I’ve broken my on-time commitment. It’s been a hectic month and it’s also the holiday season! Anyway check out Linden’s month 11 photos HERE!
We were at Myers today and I took Linden to have a photo with Santa. He was a little tired when we got there so I thought he was going to be grumpy and frighten by Santa but he was fine. He was very comfortable sitting on Santa’s lap and pose for the camera like a professional. The photographer said Linden was very photogenic and I couldn’t agreed more after seeing the photo
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year xoxo Linden

As all babies do, Linden really has developed and progressed in the space of weeks. In recent times I’ve noticed him:
He’s also now 8.1kg naked weight! Hardly a sumo but good for a genetically lithe family.
I suspect it won’t be long now before he starts walking. And then the fun and games really begin!
We were all gathered at one of the mother’s place recently for an early afternoon tea Christmas party (07/12). It was perfect weather for a picnic in the backyard. The babies had a wonderful time playing and crawling about, while the mothers enjoyed the yummy food.
The babies also participated in their first Kris Kringle and Linden was given a very cool gift – an egg carton with different shape and numbers to sort. He was most intrigue with the toy eggs and likes to take them from the carton and throwing them everywhere for me to pick up.
So this was our last get together before we break for Christmas & New Year. The babies will have grown alot the next time we meet up. I wonder who will be the first to walk in the group.
Was at Baby Warehouse in Annandale recently and found these kiddie sunglasses called Banz that have a band to keep them on baby’s head. Stuck them on Linden to try and managed to snap him before he yanked them off his face. To me he looks like a baby Vin Diesel but that could be my imagination. What do you think?
About a week and a half back, Linden was playing by the coffee table and was grasping a drink coaster with both hands. I looked over as he was doing this and noticed he was standing on his feet without leaning on the coffee table! He managed to stay standing on his own without any support! This lasted for all of three seconds before he fell on his bum.
He tried it again and this time leaned forward and planted his arms on the coffee table.
Recently he has also been pushing his push-along car like a Zimmer frame and moving along at a good clip too! I think it won’t be long before he’s walking around on his own two feet. Sure hope it’s over the January holidays because then I will definitely catch it!
Linden is teething again. I can see that his bottom gums are inflamed and it looks painful
The poor little guy woke up a couple of times last week crying because of the pain. I gave him some baby panadol as a last resort the other night and luckily he calmed down soon after and went back to sleep.
Linden’s gums must be irritating him alot because he has been biting me lately. It must be comforting for him but most painful for me. He likes to bite me on the shoulder whenever I hold him. The bite marks on my shoulder looks as if I’ve been bitten by a vampire (and no it’s not Edward Cullen)
Also during feeding time he would try to grab my finger or arm and take a bite. Sometimes when I’m too slow to pull away he manages to take a big chomp and then laughs at me when I scream. I try to get him to bite his own finger but the ‘cheeky monkey’ does not fall for it. I might have to wear some shoulder pads for protection, his teeth is so sharp.
There’s nothing worse than having a sick child. Except having a sick parent at the same time. And then having the other parent away interstate. That’s the predicament we’re in at the moment.
Linden’s just wrapping up his cold and he’s just got a runny nose and some noisy breathing at night times. Monica is ill with that universal sore-throat, runny nose and cough combo. Fortunately I can avoid all this because I’m working in Melbourne! But seriously, it’s god-awful that I have to be away while these two are not well. The saving grace is that I’m home for the weekends so Linden will still remember who daddy is!
Just another two weeks in Melbourne then the travel for the year is over. Christmas is just around the corner. I’m really looking forward to some downtime.
